Groundhog Day

Craig David, British RnBcrooner relives the same monday over and over in his video for 7 days, and in the end, just like Bill Murray in the film, he gets the girl.

The Wire

Though technically TV show, and not a film, watching The Wire is as good as watching any film.  It's gripping, intelligent and best of all black people love it.  If you look closely at the above video for my favourite hip-hop song ever 'What We Do' by Freeway, you can see its stuffed full of stars from the show  This video was filmed in 2003 roughly a year or so before white people thought The Wire was cool.  In fact the video almost serves as a mini-episode of the show.

I started watching The Wire because it featured one of my all time favourite black people, Method Man.

Newsies

Christian Bale hates this film, and he was in it!  Suffice to say Christian Bale is NOT black.  Juelz Santana is though. 

If you can tell the difference between this and Mobb Deep's Shook Ones Part II video you are a genius!

Future: The Blackest Man Alive

For a song to be placed in the genre of hip-hop it must have at least one reference to the film Scarface.  If a song doesn't mention Scarface its just RnB.  Therefore trying to make an exhaustive post on the many ways black people love Scarface would be impossible.  However special mention must be given to rapper Future, who made the most hip hop song ever, and condensed Scarface into 4 minutes of heaven.

The Fast and the Furious (The whole series)

Black people love all The Fast and the Furious films because he gives them an opportunity to become actors.

Black man in The Fast and the Furious. Looking at Ja Rule's serious face really lets me know that I'm about to see some gut wrenchingly exciting fast car action. What a Thesp!

Black man in 2 Fast 2 Furious. Often black people are allowed to record the soundtrack as well.  Both Ludacris and Ja Rule contributed songs, meaning more money!

Black boy in Toyko Drift. Even when the film is set in racially homogeneous Japan black people get in on the action.

Annie

Rappers (and thus all black people) love a rags to riches story.  Ever rapper wants to be Scarface because because he came from the bottom to the top, the ultimate route to 'street cred'.  Except Annie goes harder than Tony Montana because she grew up in a motherfucking orphanage.  Then she got to live in a motherfucking mansion.  Basically an autobiography for every rappers life.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

I love this film, and so does every other black person on the planet.  Chances are if you like this film you have at least one black friend.  Or at least you wish you did. What's not to love, the Oompah Loompah's songs are so catchy!

Willy Wonka doesn't appear to love black people as much as we love him though, and didn't clear the sample for Monsieur Gudda Gudda...
