Wedding Crashers is a mildly funny film about a pair of goons that go to weddings to pick up women and eventually wind-up *spoiler alert* realising the error of their ways *spoiler ended*.
Wedding Crashers would have been much much funnier if it was set in Jamaica, and no lessons would have been learnt.
Never before has a film wanted to be Scarface so much. Even Scarface didn't want to be Scarface as much as this film. Look, its even nicked the poster! Anyway, its a well established fact that black people love scarface. So if you were a black person and you heard they were making a Scarface with Denzel Washington you'd do anything to be a part of it.
American Gangster is stuffed full of black people, notable examples being Common, TI and The RZA.
Jay-Z was so inspired by this film he made this crappy album.
(note: I didn't really like this film, but if I had the opportunity I'd still be in it)
Do you ever feel like everyday is the same. The same bitches, the same weed, the same Patron, the same man still holding you back? Well some people embrace that shit. Craig David, British RnBcrooner relives the same monday over and over in his video for 7 days, and in the end, just like Bill Murray in the film, he gets the girl.
Though technically TV show, and not a film, watching The Wire is as good as watching any film. It's gripping, intelligent and best of all black people love it. If you look closely at the above video for my favourite hip-hop song ever 'What We Do' by Freeway, you can see its stuffed full of stars from the show This video was filmed in 2003 roughly a year or so before white people thought The Wire was cool. In fact the video almost serves as a mini-episode of the show.
I started watching The Wire because it featured one of my all time favourite black people, Method Man.
Look! There he is hanging out with Proposition Joe.
